Marca Bianca – La Prosecco Unbound
The adventure you didn’t know you wanted (but now can’t miss)
There are cycling events, and then there’s LA PROSECCO UNBOUND. This isn’t just a simple ride—it’s a truly mystical experience on two wheels, an epic journey that will test your legs, lungs, and spirit of adventure. If you think 350 km and 5000 meters of elevation gain are a walk in the park, well… you’re in the right place! If you think it’s madness, you’re absolutely right, but trust us: it’s a madness worth living.
Being Unbound: More Than a Concept, a Life Philosophy
Unbound means limitless, unrestricted, with no excuses. It means riding when you want, sleeping (or not sleeping) wherever you end up, and eating anything you can find along the way. Total freedom. There’s no support, no aid stations, or follow cars. The only help you’ll have is your brain (if it still works after the 200th km), your legs, and hopefully, a couple of friends crazier than you.
The Route: 350 Km of Pure Joy (And Some Damn Unexpected Climbs)
Let’s be honest: the route is a masterpiece. We’ve crafted it by selecting the best of what the Prosecco Hills (UNESCO Approved) have to offer. Picture-perfect gravel roads, vineyards that look like paintings, medieval villages where time has stood still (and perhaps, so has your heartbeat). But don’t worry, every climb will be rewarded with a spectacular view or, in your most desperate moments, a glass of Prosecco.
Oh, the route? It will be revealed just a few days before registration opens. Yes, we like to play hard.
How Does It Work? Simple…
- No Assistance: Because we believe the real adventure begins when you realize you’ve run out of water 30 km from the nearest town.
- No Competition: There are no rankings, podiums, or trophies here. The prize is finishing with a smile (even if it’s the exhausted one of someone who can’t feel their legs anymore).
- No Pressure: Ride when you want, stop when you want. Sleep under the stars, in an improvised bivouac, or convince a local innkeeper to give you a corner in the cellar.
- Base Camp: Along the way, you’ll find spots where you can stop, pitch your tent, and tell others how your bike “rides itself” (lie encouraged and accepted).
Who Can Participate?
Everyone. Yes, everyone. From seasoned cyclists who have breakfast with 2000 meters of elevation gain to beginners who still think gravel means “a leisurely ride with friends.” Here, you set your own level: some finish the route in two days, while others decide to turn it into a week-long vacation. The important thing is to enjoy it.
Pre-Departure: The Village
The day before the start, there will be the village, a sacred place where cyclists meet, pretend not to be nervous, and check their bike setups for the thousandth time. Here, you’ll find booths, parking, and most importantly, lots of people with the same problem as you: an obsession with bikepacking.
Unforgettable Memories (And Epic Photos to Make Your Friends Jealous)
A team of photographers and videographers will be out on the course to capture your moments of joy, effort, and despair. Epic moments, breathtaking views, and group photos you’ll use to tell the story of this adventure to your grandchildren.
Why Do It?
Because you need it. Because you want to discover what it really means to be Unbound. Because by the end of this adventure, you’ll be a new person (or at least have the perfect excuse for a week of total rest). And because the Prosecco at the finish line will taste better than anything you’ve ever had.
So, what are you waiting for? Are you ready to go Unbound with us?
